The Anvil

Three barbell sessions a week, progressive loading, and a test week at the end. The program serious lifters wish they'd started with.

Iron Season is a twelve-week, three-day strength program built around the squat, hinge, press and pull. Every session is written out set by set, with target effort, rest times and a short video for each lift.

Weeks one to four lay the groundwork. Weeks five to ten build load with weekly progressions you can actually sustain. Week eleven is a deload, and week twelve is test week: three lifts, three new numbers, one trophy.

Joining the challenge is separate from the set. The set adds a reward only when it is finished.
